Yes. We provide some of the safest Apk download mirrors for getting the Birda - Bird ID & Birding apk.
1. Birda is not your typical bird identifier app, it also connects the global community of birders irrespective of how they already record their sightings! Simply sync or import your records from eBird, Merlin Bird ID, iNaturalist, Birdtrack, Birdlasser, and more to get started.
2. Birda sends all of the sightings data it collects to the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) so that scientists can use it to understand more about the world’s bird species and their habitats.
3. Birda is a bird app & community for anyone curious about nature and birds, no matter your level of knowledge or previous bird watching experience.
4. Our taxonomic engine makes taxonomy seamless, allowing users to view each other’s bird sightings in their taxonomy of choice, irrespective of what is being used by other users.
5. Set up your home location, and Birda will also automatically create Home Lists and Patch lists for all the sightings you post within your Home and Patch boundaries.
6. Stay motivated by joining challenges and making new friends! Don’t know a bird? Use the global field guide or tap into the community and use HI (Human Intelligence) to identify what you have seen - and grow your birdwatching & ID knowledge faster.
7. For example, you can see all your bird ticks for the last month or year and your home and patch lists (regions, countries, states/provinces & nature reserves coming soon!).
8. Your bird sightings have a direct impact on helping conservation, so all that time in nature is good not only for you but also for the planet.
9. If you want to move your records to another platform, you are free to export all of your sightings from Birda.
10. Log your bird sightings - one at a time or multiple sightings as part of a birding session.
11. Birda automatically generates sub-level lists based on time and geographic location.

The birding community has long needed a dedicated social media app to bring us together and share stories, photos, and life lists. Unfortunately, with Birda it seems as though every feature that would allow this app to grow an online community is stuck behind a pay wall. This apps ability to keep records of your birding lists does not compare to the functionality an open source system such as eBird. However, it could act as a place for birders to come together that rivals apps such as Facebook if only basic features, such as your life list or ability to communicate with other birders, were not hidden behind paywalls. In sort, too many in-app purchases.
Love this app, it’s very beginner friendly and easy to use and was a huge help as I started to get into birding. EBird is definitely a bit more intimidating getting started. Also enjoy the social media style of it and the ability to post comments! Only gripe is there are a few species in my area that aren’t an option on Birda, and I don’t mean escapee/domestics, I mean like European Goldfinches and such. So I have to mark them as “unknown species” and hope I can go back and edit them someday in the future.
My wife and I have tried a host of apps, including Birfa and Ebird, and this is by far the best. Seeing EXACT locations where others spotted birds, making social media like posts to share your birding sessions and sighting, following other birders to always see their posts, and the artwork for each bird to help identify is beautiful. The app is super clean and easy to use. 10/10 recommend to any and every birder.
The app is amazing but while birding, I have seen birds that are not on the app so I can not add them as a sighting.
