Its 2022, And this app requires you to connect to your Mobile via iTunes. Its a Computer first application, despite the app having a folder I cant add Files to it. Developer How to get 5 stars: 1. (Known Bug for 3 years unfixed, based on comments) Fix the file size too large on import. If the image is more than 2k x 2k it just closes the image previewer with no error. It should allow for basic crop nothing too fancy, if your going to err allow for the app to help the user understand why :)! 2. (Nice to have) Allow for adjustments on import on fly. Allow for dithering effects, and reduce colour post mortem. 3. (Need to have) Import via web, share sheet, and remove the iTunes tethering requirement. I dont want to have to boot up my computer to add a file to my Mobile. I think thats more than enough shared for the moment.

As much as I wanted to like this app, I can’t. Nothing works, everything is too slow and buggy to do anything with. Tried to use the photo feature and it did absolutely nothing, it froze up and refused to do anything more. Should have listened to the other review. This was such a waste of 12.99. Absolutely do not waste your money on this garbage.

I should have paid attention to the reviews. This program is unusably buggy. I can’t get anything done. What a colossal waste of money. I love winstitch and was excited to have something to use on the go with a compatible file type. Unfortunately this program is not it. I’ll go back to sketching in other apps and manually transferring.

I just bought this app and it is constantly freezing, won’t save work

EDIT: This app needs serious help! Several times, I’ve started new designs, named them, saved them, made lots of progress, saving as I go. THEN, the next time I open the app the file is completely gone!!! Why?!? It’s infuriating! I’ve had MacStitch for a few years, and hoped this would work as well, or better. However, it’s very glitchy. The app just deleted a section of a design that I didn’t want to delete! When using the selection tool, the menu comes up asking if I want to copy, erase, flip, etc. When I choose ‘Erase’ the area I selected isn’t affected at all. However, a random area nearby is deleted. It happens every time I try it. It’s also annoying that although I can use the ‘Cloth’ option to erase/delete whole stitches in a rectangular selection in one step, I have to delete back stitches one square at a time. It’s tedious. Being able to rotate the canvas would be very useful.
