MASN for Android

I cut the cord years ago and still to this day cannot watch the O's other than highlights on YouTube or round about mechanisms. Wake up MASN!! I'm willing to pay for a subscription.

Is this the best you can do? Update: 2022 season. still rubbish. If I could give it zero stars I would. T-Mobile should ask for their advertising dollars back. It’s also the only commercial they must have a contract with. Over and over. Please MASN get your S*** together MASN are you listening? Good heavens let us pay so we can eliminate these HORRIBLE commercials

Had to guess if orioles were on MASN or MASN2. Once that random guess was made, I then find out Xfinity is not an option.

Tried to stream a number of games and it is minutes behind the actual live game going on. Also not able to try and fast forward to catch up. Can have loading issues.

The auth code is case sensitive but there’s no error checking or language telling you it’s case sensitive. It just silently fails. And when it fails it will sometimes send you to a generic DNS registrar landing page. The kind with the scammy generic search links on it. Once you get logged in it doesn’t actually call back to the app to let it know. You have to crash the app and restart it or else it will just sit there endlessly. Once you’re in to the app you’re presented with pre-roll ads when streaming. 90% of the time these just go into a loop and you never get to the live stream without crashing the app. If you’re lucky it’s only 5 minutes of pre-roll ads. When you actually get to the live stream it’s almost always stuck with the timeline overlay at the bottom. No way to get rid of it. No way to select it. And the “time” on the right side seems to reset to “9” (seconds?) after it hits zero. What a hot pile of steaming garbage. Update: it takes 45 seconds to load up a stream. New or switching between masn and masn2. 45 seconds! Then, faulty timeline overlay is right on top of the crawler at the bottom of the screen. Can’t read anything in the crawler, like scores from other games. And I just tested this and had 1:45 minutes of pre-roll loading up masn. When I switched to masn2, after 45 seconds to switch, I then gave up after more than 5 minutes of pre-roll ads! Didn’t get to the channel. Another update: I forgot, the ads are a good 50% louder than the programming on the stream. That’s measured. So while you have to deal with the app sucking you also have to be assaulted by the volume of the ads. And now, I’m unable to watch MASN2. Caught in a refresh loop. MASN plays fine. It’s a good thing the Orioles cancelled the broadcast contract. Wouldn’t want to make it easy to watch them play. That would be silly!
