It doesn’t sync with my web browsing even when I’m logged in, or pick up on credits I have for an exchange. The result is I’ve missed out on item bc of the disconnect and it’s easier to check out on the web when I have credits, so I’m back and forth. Then notifications disappear and when I’m in the app it prompts me to open the app 🤦🏻♀️.
I have is very easy to scroll and find your favorites. I ordered a pair of sweatpants and they are the comfiest things in the world. But I feel like if your nation doesn’t restock their kids which gets me kind of annoyed because I wear a kids 14 sweatshirt but I like to get woman sweatpants but I really want a sweatshirt from the kids section and there are no sweatshirts that I can find that are a size 14. Overall the app is amazing sweatpants and sweatshirts so comfy I would buy aviator nation right now.
The biggest issue with this app is that it does not let you filter which makes shopping on the app very frustrating. You can’t filter by color, you can’t hide sold out items, and you can’t filter by size, which is especially annoying since most of the products sell out of multiple sizes pretty quickly. Another issue is that there is no size chart provided for their swimwear. How can anyone feel comfortable spending that much money on a bikini top or bottom with no idea how their sizes run for swimwear? Also, if you select your reward points to use towards items you have in your cart, but then don’t end up completing the purchase at that time, the rewards points disappear from your account even though they were never used. If you try to use the code provided via email, it will say that the code is no longer valid even though it wasn’t used. Customer service was able to restore them in my case, but they need to fix this.
Was hoping the app would be more user friendly than the website but it’s not. There is no way to hide sold out items which is very frustrating and turns me off from shopping. And at least the website offered ways to filter by color, style and size when in a specific collection. It’s a bummer as I’m a fan of Aviator Nation but they make it too frustrating to actually shop their stuff.
I love Aviator Nation's clothing but there's some really shady stuff going on with the reviews shown in their app. If you look at any product in their app, the only reviews are 5-star reviews. However, when you go to their site, you can see that there are indeed other reviews for many products that have less than 5 stars. For example, take the "Women's 5 Stripe Sweatpants" in Heather Gray. As I write this, the app shows an overall 5-star rating based on 63 reviews. When you look at this same product on their website, this product has an overall 4.7 star rating based on 80 reviews. Of these 80 reviews, 63 are indeed 5-star reviews. I noticed this because I posted a 4-star review of their "Women's 5 Stripe Jacket" in October 2020. I love the jacket but it's not 5-star worthy in my book and I clearly stated why in my review. In this app, that review is nowhere to be seen, along with another 4-star review posted by someone else in December 2020. The app only shows 13 reviews for this product that are all 5 stars. This really feels deceptive. Hopefully this 1-star review gets their attention and they do the right thing. And though this isn't related to the app at all, their website shows very little diversity in their models with zero people of color. Be better, Aviator Nation.
