I use older cameras that require zone focusing. This has been an incredible tool to help me nail focus better. Very accurate! Highly recommend. Simple and doesn’t trigger those finicky AR modes most of these measure apps do. Just point and get a reading.
Nice concept but large discrepancy between fixed point and live measurements on Mobile 12.9 Pro Gen 5. Suspect live measurement is incorrect. Just hold Mobile still and toggle fixed point on and off to see difference.
Needs to come a bit further along in my eyes. It doesn’t look like you can fix two measuring points. What does that mean? Well when you start the app you get a little dot that you tell it to start at. Once you do that you do not get a second anchor point to get an accurate measurements. Basically you get nothing. Not even a crosshair to aim with. your measurement doesn’t hold the second your hand moves.
Nice technology but it cannot be used. Because you can’t take a measurement with one of the side buttons, you cannot hold the phone against a wall to take a wall to wall measurement. Nor does the software add back in the width of the phone (or your case). So it’s useless. Bummer.
Very accurate!
