Beautiful
Was a good cool app, until all of a sudden i have to pay just to use the widgets. Now it’s boring.
Devs asked another reviewer for a more fun app — Weather Fit. Fun and practical. I have a reason to use WF over stock options, and using something daily helps justify the use of subscription over one-time purchases. Not Boring apps are undeniably cool, but the effort it takes to figure out how to actually want to use them regularly makes the subscription feel twice as expensive. Do the devs use their own apps daily? Or do they fall back onto stock options when they need speed, convenience, or even familiarity? I would guess the latter; this app is an excellent concept, but just hasn’t risen above “concept” yet. Maybe I’d feel differently if shelling out $40+ for the subscription and custom skins that reduce legibility meant nothing to me.
Amusing and accurate
This is a thoughtfully designed app and a delight to use. Happy to be a supporter of this developer’s work.
