App doesn’t work on AppleTV

As a voting member of the TV Academy, I was provided a link to this app, which they say is supposed to work with my AppleTV. It doesn’t. I downloaded it to the gadget and tried to use it. But when I enter my passcode — copied from my Academy member page — I get an error message: “Something went wrong, try again”. So I tried again and again and again over the course of a few weeks. It NEVER works. I tried restarting my AppleTV. I tried restarting my modem. I tried contacting the TV Academy. Nothing I tried worked and I didn’t get any help other than being told the easiest way to view the FYC content was to go to the website, log in there and use my device (an Mobile in my case) to mirror the video to my TV via AppleTV. So that’s what I’ve been doing. It works but it sure would’ve been nice to get the AppleTV app they provided to actually work!
