Omnipod for Android

The emails from OmniPod seemed to indicate that the app would support integration with Dexcom G7 at go-live. However, it now says only G6, with no timeline for direct to G7. The separate controller can do both, why not the native app!? Had my hopes so high, and it’s a very significant disappointment. I will likely need to continue with the awful separate controller, instead of enjoying the benefits of this control! Please correct this quickly!!

Doesn’t work with G7, epic fail for me after being super excited to pitch my controller and now I have a fresh pod on my arm that will be using manual mode the next 3 days as there is no mention anywhere of this not being g7 compatible, arrrgh. 😖

I absolutely love how sleek this app looks. The whole app is entirely intuitive and I can’t express how grateful I am to have the privilege to use this groundbreaking technology. I would love easier and faster access to setting a temp basal/suspending insulin while in the app. While in automated mode, it would be amazing to be able to set these features without having to switch to manual mode first. Additionally, I'm really hopeful for the introduction of WIDGETS! It would be a game-changer to have quick access to essential functions like suspending insulin for a specific period, setting a temporary basal rate, activity mode, or even starting to log carb intake without needing to fully open the app and navigate through multiple screens. These small conveniences would significantly streamline diabetes management and make life so much easier. Another recommendation for improving this app would be the implementation of Siri. Just imagine being able to tell Siri how many carbs you're about to consume and then it automatically calculates how much insulin you need based on your BG reading, and then all you'd have to do is approve it for it to administer a bolus. I have so many ideas of how this app could make diabetes management so much more convenient and manageable. Like CarPlay, Google Watch integration, and even the option to utilize the Dynamic Island on newer model iPhones to do things like view your glucose and the direction it’s trending like the Sweet Dreams app does. I hope the software developers of this app take these suggestions to heart because these things would undoubtedly change the future of diabetes management forever. Thank you Insulet for changing my life today and the lives of diabetics around the world🙏🏻
