Thanks so much! It didn’t work for me because the area where I live had many cloudy days and the only day it was not cloudy, it was the moon that it didn’t let me see the comet. Easy to use. Please keep us posted for the next comet!
I’ve been trying unsuccessfully for a week to spot Comet Neowise. Last week I drove around my town trying to find a dark enough area and finally did but the weather didn’t want to cooperate and it was too cloudy. Tomorrow (7/29) is supposed to be a clear & cloudless evening so fingers crossed that I’ll spot it and I’m really hoping this app will help. 🤞🏾🤞🏾 🤞🏾 If not, I hope anyone living in the year 8820 will have better luck. UPDATE: 7/29 SUCCESS thanks to this app!! I’m so excited. ☄️ I found a pretty dark area near a private airport a few miles from me and opened the app. It worked perfectly and I could definitely see the comet. ☄️ It’s very cool. I could also make out the tail a little bit. Only thing that would make this app superb is if it had a photo taking capability. But, I was able to download an app for binoculars that took photos even tho they came out a bit blurry. I’m a happy camper now. 😁
Even with my location on and access for the app to my location, it didn’t seem to work - just gave me a fixed view of stars in the sky. It couldn’t show me where I was in relation to the comet. I’m disappointed :(
Dreadful
It’s free and it accurately finds the comet. What more can you ask for!
