Artfol for Android

i like the app but the texting is bugging me a lot. Every time i try to paste something like a link it’s so hard to cuz the keyboard is weird and it’s in light mode for some reason. And since the app has no algorithm, posts usually get 1 or 2 likes from people who happens to scroll by and there’s not many fandoms or any categories so it’s broad but in a bad way. I think this app might have a chance to redeem itself but idk.

Title, had a good time using it but now I get a constant "no internet connection" error and it immediately crashes after. My connection is working just fine, hope these bugs can get ironed out soon.

Can’t sign up as a blank pop up blocks the sign up form. Please fix.

After spending some time on this app, I felt like it wasn’t worth it. Everything is posted chronologically, which makes it hard to see everyone’s art unless you spend an hour or two scrolling. This platform leans more toward “anime”, so if you don’t do anything along those lines, people don’t much care for it. It also feels like there are a lot of younger kids on it, and while that isn’t a bad thing, the text posting page should be avoided. This app crashes a lot, sometimes making it difficult to either post art or leave a comment on someone else’s post. It is decent enough, but I wouldn’t recommend it being your go to place to share art.

Artfol might be the only art social out right now thats not on fire. Its gotten to the point that other art socials dread updates because they will inevitably ruin something worse. Artfol not only has updates that IMPROVE the app, imagine that! But also they listen to feedback and once even worked to resolve one of the glitches I encountered! And it was fixed just like that! No algorithms, only you, your posts, and your art. In a time when every other art posting place is on dead or on fire, maybe both, artfol is the last beacon for casual art posting and browsing. Give it a go if you are fed up with insta, twitter, DA, amino, tumblr, ect ect!
