Bosch MeasureOn for Android

Hold your head up fellas. For what I need it for this app is amazing. I’ve had a hard time finding apps that do just exterior floor plans in a easy manner. We are using this in combination with a Bosch laser measuring tool. For closed spaces like a floor plan I love the way I can draw a rough outline with my fat fingers and it just snaps to a clean outline and how the app resizes wall lengths depending on the measurement you input. We are using this in the pest control industry. With very little effort this app could be changed and become a industry standard for home inspection, pest control and possibly appraisals for easy exterior floor plans. Don’t try and remake a app millions have already done. These industry’s may be small but could be highly profitable. Hit me up Bosch I can be your Sherpa!

The idea of the app is great but it simply doesn’t work. It’s full of bugs and it’s terrible because you get the Bluetooth version of the tool because you need to use it but it simply doesn’t work. Worse experience with an app ever! Terrible, terrible, terrible!!!

Where to start? Developers always comment how they are always working to better the product. But, it is no better than it was 2 years ago. Why bother with a Bluetooth measuring tool when there isn’t a useful app to connect it to? Even Magic Plan is better. But even that is tirelessly outdated. That is the app they should gear to be. So much potential. Could even charge a subscription. Otherwise, just like all the others here, one star is even too much.

Dear Bosch, Please destroy this app. It’s embarrassing, especially since you market it to the contractor and prosumer. If you’re not gonna delete it: -Get rid of the stupid line draw thing and the required closed ends, not every measurement project is an indoor room, maybe, just maybe I’m using your Blaze 400 as an outside laser, to measure things that don’t always end up as a closed space. And instead of drawing a line which is buggy to the point it’s useless, how about you just insert a straight line, with toggle ends and allow us to rotate it and resize it using the ends. And lets just start with that, so it’s actually usable, I have a whole laundry list of very basic features that I feel are a necessity, but it’s clear you’re struggling as it is, with a basic app that makes a rectangle. How about you either find a developer, to make the app for you, and you stick to making tools, or you just make an api so other developers can male a compatible app, instead of locking us in to this garbage

I use to love the old Bosch measure and app, but this new version has issues. It is slow to react when drawing measure lines and it no longer has the ability to import to a file.
