Laundry Lens for Android

App cannot switch to proper lens on Android 13 Pro Max resulting in blurry image and thus no icon recognition. Would be nice to have an option to upload a picture for it to analyze as well.

While the regular camera can focus on things up close, this is only focusing at a distance and then doesn’t pick up the labels. No clear way to contact support.

What a great example of elegant, user centric design. Solves a very specific problem, which is exactly what I want from most apps.

My first attempt to use the app in decent light, even trying it with the flashlight feature, resulted in incorrect readings. The label was a little bit shiny but I could see that the image on the screen was clear enough. Nevertheless the symbols that the app returned were inaccurate: missreading the bleach instruction symbol, showing the wrong number of dots in the iron symbol and therefore giving me an incorrect instruction, and in one case duplicating the iron symbol and ignoring one of the existent symbols. I’ll try it again, but it’s frankly more likely I’ll pull out a magnifying glass to rad the English language instructions that are printed in microfiche below the symbols

This app would be way more useful except I can’t ever get it to pick up the tags! My camera is fine I do not think the developer is properly using the camera API. I cannot tap to focus nor zoom in making the app useless. It only focuses from a far distance and then the tag is too small to read from there. My camera is not the issue it works fine in other app. Using 13 Pro on latest ios version.
