Helio - Sunset Forecast for Android

This app promises a small amount of information and delivers less! It’s advertised to “never miss another sunset”. Not much, but in fact, it doesn’t even deliver that. Weather Channel gives me the sunrise and sunset time. I’m deleting this loser.

At first I didn’t find this app impressive, however, it’s simplicity has certainly grown on me, and the accuracy of the predictions far outshines the competition, which makes it a valuable tool in my opinion! Thanks for your efforts!

How does this app help me never miss a sunset if no notifications or threshold to alert? There should also be a regional map to see where the best spots will be located. The app also switches to the sunrise forecast (and removed sunset) while still more than an hour before sunset. Deleted.

as someone who was raised in tucson, arizona, i know how important the sun is and how beautiful golden hour can be. i’m so glad an app exists so that we can track it!! the design is a clean and simple and serves the exact purpose that i need. just waiting for a widget feature to be added 😏😏 it would also be nice if users could see a day ahead or behind (calendar feature almost? although unsure how far into the future the sun forecast goes). maybe also let us toggle between sunset or sunrise golden hour time, or let us see both on the same screen ✨ either way, great app, thank u developers + designers 💛

Way too many false negatives. I’ve used this for a good month every day and have never seen it predict a sunset as being beyond fair quality. That has not been the reality in the least.
