MyGabb for Android

We bought the gabb 3 watch for our 5 year old. She treats it well and has gotten use to the bulk. Two start rating is because of two things: First: This latest update that was pushed out by Gabb for her Gabb watch 3 appears to have disconnected our tech apps connection to the watch. The watch says it is updated. The app on my device says it is updated too. However, my daughter’s watch says the last time it was turned off was a week ago and that it was still at her school. We charge it nightly. So we know it was home and turned back on. We have restarted all devices and the issue persists. Secondly: Beyond this more recent issue, the delay of where our daughter is located within our geofences can be anywhere from 5-20minutes. This has been frustrating as she travels between several different locations after school via a bus or other families in a car pool. Knowing where she is at and that she got there safely means the world to me. That delay has meant she has missed a bus and been left behind before and I didn’t know for 20 minutes. That is terrifying to me.

This is currently an unusable product. Every time we try to pair our watch with the app, it crashes immediately. We reached out to customer service and they eventually gave up and blamed it on our device. We tried 2 additional devices and the same thing happened. So, it clearly must be a me problem if the app crashes immediately in an identical way on 3 devices. Hmmm.

For the last 2 weeks the app stop reporting on the Gabb phone. May decide to drop this service. Gabb still not tracking! 10/25

The worst thing about this app is the locate feature which is rarely able to locate my child’s phone. It will go weeks without being able to find it for no discernible reason and it won’t play a sound on the phone when you tell it to. Needless to say, being unable to locate the phone makes setting safe zones useless.

Love this device the cost, gps, notifications, everything! No problems so far.
