This app will not detect the X2D. I followed the instructions, turn on the Wi-Fi and nothing. Even uninstalled and reinstall the app a number of times. You may want to update the app for the X2D; the app hasn’t been updated for a year.
I wish there’s a way to shoot in black and white. Not preview or process in grey scale, but actually compose and shoot on the camera in black and white. Another suggestion for the app/camera, is a way to have a setting that natively shoot in grayscale. Lastly, when doing time exposures, can you somehow change the flashing LED on the camera to actually flash every second? I suspect that when shooters are actually counting down, waiting for the long exposure, if the flashing LED on the camera flashes act as a timer, it would help us countdown without any anxiety; it’s not like we have anything else to do while waiting… Oh and one more thing, can the trash icon get a couple more vertical lines to look more like a trash can? Other than these requests and suggestions, I think the camera/app is top notch. Working on selling all my other cameras. Keep up the great work.
Please actually read the user agreement before installing this, or any Hasselblad app.
Does not work with non Hasselblad lenses using adapter as advertised. Hasselblad has been notified, but has shown little interest in fixing the problem. This app was the only reason I gave Hasselblad a try for the first time. Bad experience, as I have been waiting for several months.
