I like to use this a little before the range and then I usually have less then 4-5” spread. The marksmanship course is great now that it’s updated. Tough but worth it if you wanna be better.
It’s constantly loosing the targets in the middle of training and has to re acquire them. Not only that, but if there is any light in the room or your walls are white, you get nothing but red splotches and the targets won’t be acquired. It’s frustrating!
The app is what others have already described. I use it daily for dry firing and I really like it. There are two things that are bad, hence the 4 stars review: 1. The daily goal is more of a rolling 24hrs goal. I can’t practice at any time of the day because the app won’t record my sessions as of the date I executed them. I have to wait until the 24hrs period expires. An example. If I practice at 1pm on Monday I have to wait until Tuesday at 1pm or later for the app to recognize my sessions for the daily goal. This is not practical because I practice when I have time! 2. The app shuts down pretty often. If Mantis can fix this I may consider a 5 stars review and even maybe get into the MantisX.
This is freaking amazing! The only reason for 4 stars, is because some shots aren’t picked up when doing box drills.
