I’m not going to file an issue, that’s your job
This does not support Pioneer flagship DDJ 1000 controller or any of their controllers because Driver is missing from the app! Hey pioneer you need to as a minimum add support for the expensive professional DDJ 1000!
Sure it probably works well with hardware and syncing; but it is pretty much useless without more streaming options. Tidal? Spotify? Google Music? Deezer? ……no. Just a clunky cloud based service that doesn’t allow easy steaming. Makes it hard to enjoy new music you find without really working for it. Pass!
This is such a refreshing way to manage my music! I love that I can add memory cues and hot cues with a single tap without stopping playback (please add this feature to the desktop app!) and the built in dual decks for testing mixes is so great. I do wish that you didn't have to link playback state to access to EQ cuts, but that's a minor quibble. I really hope that there is an Mobile layout in the works as it really seems like an ideal format for this workflow...and just scaling up the UI isn't helpful. One issue I run into often is the waveform overview doesn't render for tracks loaded in the deck. This is a pretty critical piece of data to effectively work on such a small screen and I have to come back to that track later when it happens...our a relaunch sometimes fixes it. This is the only reason for me to remove one star. Otherwise an amazing app combined with the Professional Cloud account makes this a must-have!
Keeping my phone on rekordbox screen to sync the library the first time is also a huge joke. What am I really paying for????? To stare at the screen for hours until it’s finished. My pleasure with this app is becoming complete frustration at the least.
