Edlin reborn. Write & save a txt file. Line numbers. Everything I needed in a text editor. Now how do I suppress spell check?
The app requires an in app purchase after three uses. Even better, it’s so buggy with a long list that that cursor stutters and shows three lines above or below where you’re actually editing. When you close and reopen the file to get around this, well, that counts as a use No thanks. Delete.
This app hides that you can’t open a 2nd file without being forced to give feedback via a non-closeable pop up. Upon the 3rd file being opened, the user gets a no -close able pop up that demands you start the “free trial of paid features” with no way to use the app until you accept their terms to run as a paid subscription of $52/year. Very deceptive, very expensive, and WAY too little value nor features when so many 100% free options exist. But … it was usable for the first 2 text files I opened.🤣
Assumes arrogantly that it’s the best, thing since slice bread and replaces other txt readers like the narsastic app it is.
$0.99 per week!? For a text editor!? Sorry. Developer must be smoking something or maybe it’s me who’s out of touch but, no way would I pay $120 yearly for a text editor. $5 - $10 per year maybe but, $120. Nope. Hard pass.
