Ikon Pass for Android

The Ikon App has several actions that must be done on the website. The app opens the website, I have to enter my user name/password (which cannot be saved) and then go through the website to find what I need. On reservations it will sometimes require the website to redirect me to a new website (requiring me to enter my username/password again). This website labyrinth happens at least for reservations and pass renewal. Maybe other functions also. In other words, the app doesn’t function well, doesn’t save your username and password when it opens the website on the app, and is poorly organized. Smaller issue, but still also bewildering: the forecast/condition reports are often wrong. From mu experience they’ve always been wrong/don’t match the forecast/condition reports that specific resorts list online. Perhaps the Ikon is correct for some resorts, but I have not seen it be accurate a single day.

The Ikon app is definitely better than the Epic Mix app. The buddy tracking system is incredible for when you have a big group of people! However, there is one thing that the Epic Mix does better. On there, you can filter runs by different criteria to show up on the map, including only showing groomed runs. Thats really useful for people searching for the nicest runs of the day.

The app keeps stopping. Does not accurately track vertical. Im using ski tracks until it gets fixed

So flexible, one less thing to think about

I have been using the app all season. It tracks my days and destinations, but doesn’t track my stats—vertical feet etc. Not much use.
