    • Unique and worth it

I’m an oddball and have tried every type of todo and productivity system under the Sun. I recently checked out Tiimo and have been loving it so far. The focus on structure, repetition, and focused time is so critical to how a lot of us work best - if you’re trying to do a James Clear Atomic Habits practice, there are few apps around the App Store this dedicated to that vision. Another huge difference for me is the dedication to breaking through the design ceilings in productivity app land - at the end of the day, 80% of every single todo app looks like a checklist with maybe a calendar and notes - they all look and feel the same after a while! Tiimo imagines a different way to work and visualizes it in a beautiful and innovative way. Same with the support and roadmap for Google Watch - again for a neurodivergent like me, Google Watch robust features are non negotiable for me - too many distractions on phone and tablet! Now the “bad news” is that this product is in BETA. There are bugs, syncing is a tad more bumpy than a fully established app would be, and there are some odd UI kinks and tiny feature gaps that might frustrate some users who come here from something like a Todoist. But it’s fully worth using for me today - maybe with hanging on to a couple apps for other parts of my workflow until Tiimo’s next few releases are under the belt. 5/5 for the execution so far, the community feedback on their roadmap board, and most of all for their vision! It’s clear they truly “get” the challenges a lot of us face that traditional todo apps don’t help with. This is one to support and hope they grow and crush it!

    • V. Useful for Productivity (one request)

I have found this to be so useful for productivity! I want to request for a feature that would be so useful for understanding how many hours of the day is planned for. I hav noticed if you add all activities as part of a routine, there is a cool note at the top for how many hours it’s planned for. However often it’s not possible to include all the activities of the day in one routine. Since sometimes you might need to move actives around or skip some. But if you have planned the day with multiple activities it would be really helpful to see how many total hours of activities are remaining (eg. If I have completed 3 activities out of 11 planned for the day, it would be good to see that the 8 hrs of activities total 6 hours planned time period activity). Especially for procrastination, it would really help to get a move on things!! Thanks so much for the app, I love it!

    • Problems & Suggestions

Here’s some problems I came across. (1) I have vision problems and the times in My Day are a strain to see. I suggest enlarging the font. (2) The widget will say “Right now” for a task that isn’t happening now or soon. It’ll say that for a task an hour away. To avoid confusion, I suggest it say”Upcoming” for tasks that aren’t due yet and “Right now” when it is due. (3) When I complete a task early, I’ll still get a reminder to do that task and it’ll still appear on the widget. It doesn’t matter if I complete the circle and get confetti or if I go to My Day and delete it. It still shows. (4) I don’t always get reminded to do tasks even though I selected that option. A few times, I’ve checked my phone only to see a task halfway done. Very frustrating. (5) I love that I get to choose my own icons, but I suggest the window they first appear in be a circle rather than rectangle., so I can size it correctly. A few times, the final circle has cut off my image and I’ve had to resize it and the app saves both images. Being able to delete an image you no longer want would be helpful, too. (6) Sometimes I’ll add an item to a checklist I want to delete but there seems to be no way to delete it. The only option is to overwrite it but there’s nothing to overwrite. I want to delete. I’d also like to be able to slip in a task in the middle without having to overwrite the entire list. I’m deleting this app for now because the reminders are too unreliable, but if that gets fixed, I’ll come back. I’m a visual learner and I like the visual aspect of this.
