There has been a severe case of bullying on this app for a few months now. There is one user in particular who is relentless in bullying users who are seeking help or advice on their mental health struggles, relationship and intimacy struggles, eating disorders, some have gender dysphoria, and there’s even content mentioning suicide. The bully is also a racist (they’ve expressed hate towards the Asian community, triggered by someone using the hand-peace-sign emoji in the sallow skin tone), are blatantly transphobic (they comment awful things when anyone expresses support in any way for the transgender community), are going after certain avatars (miyla mostly) because the bully believes it’s someone they’re obsessed with and want to continue harassing. The bully has also publicly commented and privately messaged death threats to several users including myself, frequently tells some users to kill themselves and that the world is better off if the bullied user is dead, they’ve encouraged a few users to follow through their suicidal ideation (I hope those users still alive and ok♡︎). One user was trying to help the community by keeping everyone aware of the situation and whenever the bully changed their avatar or typing style. Some users have been standing up to the bully but it keeps harassing them and others. •The advocate’s avatar is Miyla. I think they’re still around, though they mentioned possibly changing their avatar. They said they keep having to block and report the bully because it keeps finding them. •The bully’s main avatar is Jinto. However, they’ve used Yarri, Moki, Paskel, and Miyla to mockingly impersonate the advocate Miyla user. The bully also slanders the advocate Miyla and has done a smear campaign against them. The bully also slanders anyone else who defends that Miyla and anyone who stands up to the bully. They use these emojis (😂🤡🤮💀) quite often, usually type in lowercase, sound very hostile and defensive in their typing/text tone. They have tried to changed their typing style to avoid being called out but thankfully some users are able to spot the bully anyway. According to the app’s Terms of Service, the bully is violating some of them. The app is no longer safe and I don’t know if the developers are aware or not. If you still choose to use this app, please be aware of this chronic issue. I advise you to be very selective in what you post/share with others because the bully may harass you depending on what you say- if they don’t like it, they’re going to bully you. **Please don’t remove this review, there’s no hate towards the developers. Just want people to be safe and aware of this tiring issue.**
Don’t download this app it isn’t good for mental health
This app started out well but due to the Anonymity of the app bullying is frequent. I’ve honestly found more caring and supportive groups on Reddit than this one. Reporting behavior doesn’t seem to do anything. This app needs to be monitored and moderated better.
Helpful affirmations, journaling is nice
I love this app and i’ve had it leas than an hour! I love the fact that anything you say is completely anonymous and that you dont have to think of a username or upload a profile picture. Writing out my feelings and it being anonymous helps me alot. I love that you can put a pin number in to be able to access the app. This app definitely respects your privacy and this helps so much with anxiety. If you dont like sharing your feelings with anyone knowing who you are I definitely recommend downloading this app it will help.
