File Search Machine is a versatile, powerful app that quickly finds: file contents, documents, folders, photos, videos, audio tracks, applications, emails and other files, including hidden items. There are several customizable settings that allow for a targeted or general search. Some of the options include searching for All Words, Any Word, Phrase, or Wildcard Format. Settings in Preferences offer the option to choose between using Spotlight & Find, Spotlight only, or Find only. It's important to remember, the categories you select to appear in Spotlight Search Results (through  > System Preferences > Spotlight > Search Results) will impact your File Search Machine results when using the Spotlight setting. Once your first set of search results are presented, you can refine your search with another search string and select between three options (Everywhere, Name, Path), to narrow down your results, if desired. QuickLook offers a convenient way to view and locate what you looked for, without having to open Finder. There are numerous settings that impact the effectiveness and speed of the search. Do not buy this, it will not give the results you're looking for and the Drag And Drop method risks you moving important folders to places they don't belong.
