Typewise Custom Keyboard for Android

This is a nice change to the norm and it works great. Backspace and delete is a tough to get used to but when you do it’s a breeze. Need more apps that make it a better experience to use the phone these days. Keep up the good work.

I’d keep the app if it allowed you to delete the last character the way the normal Android keyboard works. Until they get that functionality in place, I won’t use it.

So i like this keyboards because it is one of the keyboard that work with multiple languages. Sometimes it switches automatically but sometimes it gets stuck in a language and then need to switch manually. This is with traditional keyboard in mind not their hex keys. I use the swipe future a lot when it comes to making a quick word . I don't swipe to erase mistakes so its kind of weird and i'm so used to having the erase button where the question mark button is and at least a number key row above the keys. Also i bought lifetime so i could use the vibration but it doesn't register each key. And would be nice go have an optional ping sound feedback as well as vibration. Turning off this for now until it gets fixed.

I have been using this for a year, and overall I prefer it. BUT... Weird typos. I mean really weird. Going to correct a real typo it didn't catch turns into a circus, where it spells the word right, but doubles the first letter. I see this repeatedly in others' posts, and know exactly which keyboard they're using. Sometimes it will UNdo a manual correction you've made, so that you end up posting something that makes you sound uneducated, blind, or someone with dementia. And in Facebook, it breaks tags. If I am trying to tag several people in a post and it decides to autocorrect a surname (even though I tapped the correct spelling), it will then break ALL the tags I have already done. Sometime I can't tag someone at all, because it will repeatedly try to correct their name and break the tag. It will also autocorrect an entire paragraph at once, including its own overcorrections I had already manually corrected! I loVe the idea, but am seriously thinking of uninstalling it because I am tired of the weird autocorrections and breaking of tags.

I’m not sure what the purpose is but why wouldn’t you just tell people up front that you have to manually change the keyboard to your worthless app’s keyboard every time you leave a message and come back in. Are you seriously trying to ask people to pay for this garbage. Deleted the app 10 mins after I downloaded it. Total crap
