Has potentional but very flaky, sad to $50 for this. The app fires up sometimes and other times it wont. The creator had a great idea just not excuted. I have spent the last 2 days inputting data, only for it to disappear. The app is very bad on the desktop, most of the time you open the app it just spins thinking and never give you your data
I have seen reviews for this app that really haven't been that good... to me, this app gets the job done and I'm satisfied. I was not a user before the company lost everyone's data (which definitely has left some weary of downloading) but in the many months I've used both the Android and Android apps my information has stayed with me. Their database is moderately limited as it is completely independent, but I'm fine contributing some info/pictures. There have only been 3-5 cases where the app doesn't give me any info at all. Overall, I appreciate this app for catologuing my movie collection and my only feedback is to increase the amount of pictures from 4 to 6 and to allow photo editing on the Android app like it is on the iOS app.
I started using the app thinking it was perfect for what I wanted. Easy sync between computer and phone. However, I spent a lot of time adding many items over the holidays and they had a server issue and lost all data entered over about 2 months. I had purchased the app during that timeframe as I had time off to work on cataloging my collection over the holidays. Literally lost all the work I did in that time. I've asked for a refund from both Google and the Developer and both have denied this. This seems like a major problem that they can just completely lose your data and frankly they don't seem to care at all. I've tried to tell them that this wasted many hours worth of my time and I don't think this is unreasonable to request a refund for a fairly expensive app that did not perform the way it should. Even a partial refund would be nice for wasting my time. Would not recommend. Developer does not care about protecting your data.
Purchased the app for my Android as well as my Android, scanned all my movies on my Android, it showed up on the Android fine but was gone from my Android, figured to log out of the Android to see if it would show up on my Android, but no, then when logged back into my Android there was nothing, so I lost all the info I scanned. The program needs to make it easy for some to reimport data once saved, currently it looks like you have to send the data back to the app provided for them to reimport, would be nice for the user to have the ability reimport as required
