Reviews

  • Does not work.

Wish I could give zero score. This app is completely non-functional for all mail folders that contain more than 1 email. Please, replace your developer team of high school children with adult, experienced developers who are experienced developing Android apps and understand UI standards for this environment. I have used the android app for years and it works very well. It has saved me several times in remote operating circumstances.

  • Formerly a big fan, but now the application's unusable

The constant redesigning of Blue Mail may have been an advantage at one time, but now it just means having to learn new processes -- like, even just reading the mail! -- and working things through step by step, slowing my email usage to a crawl. I'm keeping the Google version on in hopes that either it or I will get a lot smarter, but probably not. Overdesign is one of my personal bugaboos, and here it's taken to a higher level.

  • Surprisingly Glitchy

I have been using Bluemail on my android phone for years and I have always loved it. I recently switched to Google and thought I'd give this desktop version a try. I really wanted to love it but it's just too glitchy and unresponsive to rely on it. The interface is very nice and some of the features are excellent improvements over the standard mail app on the computer. But it feels like it's running in some sort of web emulation mode with a poor connection. I understand it's a free program to compliment their enterprise services... but why offer it at all if it's not going to work smoothly?

  • Buggy

The user interface is buggy. Sometimes it gets slow for no reason. Sometimes the reading pane won't let you scroll. Closing the program and reopening it fixes it. And there's nothing magic about the "MagicSync" feature, you have to enter ALL your passwords every time you add a new device. I wanted to like it but I couldn't

  • Allows spam in

I found myself suddenly slammed with spam, 25 a day (from zero previously). As far as I can tell, this program has no spam filter at all You can "block sender" and messages from that address (both address and domain, no difference if you block both) keep on comin'. Their excuse is that it's because my ISP lets them in. I switched back to Google Mail and after a couple days of blocking, they are gone. They need to at least allow blocking, if not spam detection. Deleted program.
