Picked up our new ID.4 on Saturday. Went back to dealership to have them provide Premium Plan code to get 3 years free charging. When I put in the code and vehicle VIN the app gives an error message saying “unable to verify eligibility”. I have tried multiple times and have contacted EA support to try to fix issue. They offered ti refund any money spent charging in the meantime. Not a good start with this app.
The first charge with them somehow messed up our eTron— BUT all charges since then have been good. They’re expensive but good when it’s the only option.
Electrify America I’m beginning to think is garbage. Every time I got somewhere it seems like there is always a station is always out of service! For the prices they charge and some of them being newer why they heck are there so many out of service!? Then the app doesn’t always reflect that! Plug Share is a better app.
I’ve had this charger for 9 months and have never been able to set up a charging schedule. Multiple calls to EA have not resolved the issue. Their customer service is sympathetic but useless in solving this problem. Numerous software glitches exist with home charger and this app. It seems that EA could care less about resolving customer complaints.
The customer service is absolutely amazing. If I’m having trouble their response and expertise is exceptional
