Do not bother buying this device. The translation is pitiful and you have to use your Android which already offers Apps that do the same thing. This is an absolute rip off.
Without the One Mini, this app is useless. I’m a Backer on Kickstarter for that device and the company is months behind with no recent updates as to what is going on. It’s been 2 1/2 months since they’ve given an update. All the backers feel we’ve been cheated and just this app being here is an insult to those who have backed them. Update 12/23/2019: I got my OneMini device. I really just functions as a Bluetooth speaker and Microphone. You cannot do anything without having your smartphone with you as well. It isn’t a MP3, it just channels music or sound from your smartphone. The translation function of the app isn’t nearly as good as several other apps I have. There is one app that is both on my phone and my Google Watch. And since I’ve got an Google Watch with built in cellular service, it truly can act as a stand-alone translation device that works way better than the OneMini. My watch can also play music by itself and has maps/navigation etc. etc. etc....
The One Mini app is easy to use and seems to be accurate. The app design looks good and only has a few functions so you can get to what you need without worry. The only reason I didn’t give the app a five star review is because not everything is in English so if you’re wanting the live interpretation services that you have to pay for, I’m not sure how you would do it. It’s also good to read the terms of service for this app. It does collect data and personal information so just remember that.
For how many languages it’s super fast! I got the green and I love it! You guys did amazing work with these things
