They get complexes to sign a contract so PLEASE ask before you sign a lease if they use fetch. If they do, RUN. Fetch insures that you receive your packages late, they’ve rid themselves of customer service numbers so you can only text and they IGNORE you until AFTER the issue is solved days later. It’s insane. I imagine a class action lawsuit will take place soon.
Was forced to use this service at my old apartment complex and it was awful. I moved to a new apartment and they didn’t use it and was so happy until complex management switched and brought in Fetch for handling packages. It hasn’t even been a month and already have the same problems I had two years ago. Nothing changed. Delayed packages. No customer support. Waste of time and essentially makes Prime membership a waste of money. Avoid apartment complexes that use this service!!
I continue to be in awe of what a terrible service option this is. Unfortunately this is what my apartment complex uses so I have no choice. Fetch schedules deliveries then sends me a message “your delivery time is no longer available Choose another” WTAH. My Christmas tree was one week late apparently it got lost. I’m having to have items shipped to my family and pic up from them. HORRIBLE SERVICE
1. Text comes through of delivery notice for delivery, but delivery doesn’t arrive. I get texts that say the delivery times have changed, or there’s something to do with late delivery person so they have to deliver the next day. My packages are important and need to arrive within two hours after you have received from Amazon. I pay Amazon $20 a month for delivery services and now I have to pay ya’ll. So please be early or on time. 2. Can’t EVER get a hold of a human. Emails and texts with a robot doesn’t work at all. 3. My packages are sometimes not at my door but tossed 2 feet away from my front door. Not all the time. But it’s happened 3x’s.
This is an app that can only work as well as the people behind it, and the people that work at my local Fetch facility couldn’t possibly care less. Features that are supposed to help users are ignored: the Fetch workers don’t take photos of the correct part of the shipping label to help me know what the incoming package is, and they don’t input where the package actually came from (just “USPS” or “other”). If the Fetch driver neglects to deliver a package in the requested window, the app won’t update with any more information; the package is just marked as “out for delivery” indefinitely. Finally, the Scout tool is a joke and I’ve ended up in too many cycles of trying to find the pretyped response that fits my issue, with no way to reach a real person when these options are inadquate. My packages are also routinely left at the wrong address, though this is less of an app issue than it is a driver issue. I wish, though, that there was a way to more quickly fix that issue through the app, such as a driver messaging function or a way to let them know they’re at the right door. I can’t wait until I find a new apartment and am not forced to pay for this service.
