Tiny Stopwatch is a favorite of mine in terms of the clean, minimalist design. And the free version is appreciated, but it lacks a stopwatch and alarm. I upgraded to Pro and was happy to get the stopwatch function, disappointed that it lacks customizable alarm notifications. Just uses the brief, built-in system sound. If not in front of or within earshot of the computer, it's easy to miss. You can't even permanently save named alarms.
I have used this for a couple of years and loved it. I just got an M1 MB Pro running Monterey and it didn't show up in the menu bar. The assumption was that it was because of the notch on the screen of the new machine. I wish I knew exactly how I got it working for sure... I installed "Hidden Bar" and used it to move things around to try to get the TinyStopWatch icon away from where the notch was. I could not do so until I plugged in an external monitor (without the notch). Then, I was able to move TinyStopWatch way over to the right side and now it works great with either an external monitor or the original Android screen. Great program!
I need a sound to play then the timer goes off, and I need to be able to save timer presets and replay them
I use this tiny app almost every day to track time on task, and I love new options in the free version to hide the background in the menu bar, start with system, and change the time display type. Unfortunately, the update also broke the timer, which is a pretty important feature for a stopwatch. Multiple times today I have paused the timer and then restarted it after a break only to have the time on the timer instantly DOUBLE when I press the play button. Start the timer with 16 minutes on the clock, and it jumps straight to 32. Useless for billing time on task and very frustrating to see something perfect broken for aesthetic changes. Please fix!
