Precision Pro Golf App for Android

I like the map feature especially for layups and doglegs. Like most cellphone based apps, you need a few extra seconds to make sure the distance isn’t changing. GPS will always be faster and more instantaneous. I like the score keeping feature and the feature where there is a shortcut on your phone Lock Screen. The only bit I don’t love is the R1 laser that is meant to go with the app. Twice my R1 laser trigger switch has busted and needed a replacement. The App communication with the laser is spotty at best, even if you allow the Bluetooth to remain on continuously.

Never updates and I have to sign into phone and update it 150% annoying. Even speaker is not great quality. Not happy I have also lost the button to get F M B numbers and it’s lost after using twice. But it doesn’t work if you must update phone all the time. So keeping in pocket which is useless when it doesn’t update. My friends laugh when I say I 450 yds out at 150 marker

It needs tonupadte to the next hole without opening up and refreshing the app on your phone. Also irnkills the battery on the phone too quickly.

I lose the connection with the app and the speaker. Also it usually takes a few tries to connect at the beginning of a round. During the round I notice that it hasn’t changed the hole automatically. I have to go into the app and manually change it to the current hole. I’ve written to support several times but no response. Buyer beware.
