I am a huge fan of rouge-like games. I have beaten ENTER the gungeon multiple times and different devices. So you can imagine how excited i was to play another gungeon themed game. I was intrigued by the 2D style of this game. When i originally played it my first thoughts were “this game is really easy” which is fine because there is a hard mode. but… i’ve noticed of late that if i ever don't fully finish an entire run and tab out of the game for like 20-30 mins, I will loose the ENTIRE progress of that run only keeping the credits (i think). I understand that this game is shorter and you can beat it pretty quick but honestly, It gets super repetitive, even with all the character options, they all just feel like reskins of eachother. Also the hat collectibles are more of just big distractions and dont add alot to the game (even though it takes multiple runs to even get a single hat sometimes). I dont see these issues ever getting fixed either because its just the game…. Where is the save and quit button? why are the hats so annoying? why is the game so easy/short. It just seems like a throw away game.
What the heck are the controls? I know how to move but how do I interact? How do I chat? It is so confusing.
Can’t progress after the first stage after the item shop screen. No where to go. No hints. No In game help. Deleted.
While this game is great, the one thing I hate the most is playing this game while I multitask. Whenever I leave the app to switch a song on YouTube or send an email to my friends, most of the time the game closes and I have to restart my run. Ive lost many good runs to this, but with it’s replayability this isn’t much of an issue. I know this cant be fixed, this isn't any sort of glitch or bug, so take my advice: Play your runs only when you have completely free time.
I owned this game on iOS before it went over to there 5$ store now I can’t play unless I pay 5$ a month.
