Short and sweet Broken in game economy, supremely toxic community from creators down, repetitive gameplay (walk a circle, hold attack while spamming potions, spam “pickup,” repeat), broken event drop rates that border P2W and over priced cosmetics. Elaboration Monsters have low drop rates due to a shared rarity drop pool and all monsters/bosses drop one item per kill. There are three rarity categories and each usually have four to five items per category that you must roll against, then roll again for the item in that category that will drop. Bosses share this method along with a spawn timer. Bosses work on a system that allow for the player who does the most damage to get the drops. This is where the broken economy and toxic community come in play. High level (90+ usually with best in slot gear) characters farm every boss that has any loot worth farming. From the third boss of the game to the final they wait— or server hop— and kill steal, taking the loot—or lack thereof/opportunity for drops— with them. Numerous times I asked/attempted to take turns on bosses. If we shared a language I was usually flamed/told “kys” and “too bad.” No report function means you must use discord. I won’t even speak on that… If you manage to kill bosses AND get a very rare drop you do not need, you must contend with people only wanting to trade (usually things you do not need), people attempting to dramatically low ball then flame you for refusing, or having the value not exist any longer. The economy changes by the second as discord and in game chat (the only two ways to communicate) are consistently flooded with posts to buy, sell and trade. You will post selling something for “30M” (thirty million gold) and within seconds have twelve others post selling it for less all the way down to “9M.” It is even worse when you wish to purchase as your “30M” offer is met by insults followed by three others offering “50M.” Buying also forces you to contend with people only accepting the paid currency “Shards” or wanting a different item of equal or more value/rarity. Past events consist of playing the game to obtain event keys used to open the event chest. Killing monsters or leveling up a skill will grant event keys at random. Between two people using over ten thousand keys with three chances per key, we obtained zero very rare loot out of the five possible (one being a non-tradable pet). During the time of this event the very rare items went from “100M” to “10M” to “150M,” then we quit playing the game. We watched the “Shards” go from “150k” to “70k” per five during this time, too! I made it to level 95/120, collected every non paid pet in the game (including Umbra, the pet drop from the dragon boss), and cannot recommend this game. Wish I had that time back! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The mods and devs are actively involved within the large community of this game and you’ll love to be a part of it all.

Downloaded a few days ago and can’t stop playing. Nice tribute to throwback gaming

I picked this game up a while back in its infancy, just as something casual. I was hooked, even back then with minimal skills available. As I started to cap out I put it down and returned only to find a lot more content. Maps included, wiki linked in game with pretty extensive content, magic and range added as well as skills to support the new mechanics. This game is awesome, very much like a casual RuneScape for Android it’s super easy to get into and little research required to know where to progress. The community is active and extremely helpful, it’s well designed and the developers I hope continue on the same path because they are nailing it thus far!
