First off, I love my eVscope 2, however … this telescope REQUIRES an Android or Mobile (yes, or similar Android device) to operate, but when I ask if they support the Google M1 silicon all they will say is, “We don’t know, we’re not Google experts”. Really? You develop a REQUIRED app and you cannot answer what by now should be a basic question for any iOS/iPadOS developer? Lovely … NOT! It appears that a new app version may be released 4/17 so I guess I’ll hold my Mobile Air purchase until then. Sheesh!
Fantastic telescope and app - delivers 100% as advertised! I hope Unistellar will develop a telescope tailored for planetary, moon, and sun imaging in the near future.
Love my evscope. It makes astronomy accessible as as a hobby for anyone. The app is fantastic. Three problems it has is: (1) it kicks me out as being the operator several times an hour even though I don’t have guests who are trying to share my scope; (2) the Wi-Fi connection between my scope and my phone is not stable and I have to reconnect a lot; and (3) the overlays placed on the images often misidentify the image as being whatever celestial object I am currently slewing to.
Line the previous reviewer, I have the latest app but when I connect to the Christmas present evoscope, it says my app is too old. I can’t use the new telescope! Please help!
I am getting this prompt: “your version of the app is too old” - my iOS is the latest (15) so this is on your side. Please fix ASAP as this is completely unusable for my Christmas gift! :(
