This app is exactly what i have been looking for. The only criticism i have is that sometimes albums appear twice under an Artist and it doubles the count of that album causing the counts to be inaccurate. I dont why it does this but would love to see it fixed for better results and accuracy within the playcount app. Also some artists dont show up in the list of artists even though they have one of the highest play counts.
This is such an awesome app. The default Music app is SO limited, this app brings a lot of the play count functionality of iTunes into your mobile device. I wish they would continue developing it. I’d gladly support them if there was a paid version.
The app seems to be accurate, but only if you have been using ITunes to download or use Google Music to ply music. It is not accurate if you at some point used music downloaded from another source as these songs typically are labeled wrong. For instance, if you have ever illegally downloaded music and have the same artist listed multiple times under “artists” the play count for those artists will not be accurate. If you have been using iTunes to download or listen to music the counts seem to be accurate.
