I picked up a few shifts that I was supposed to work, 2 at a factory in which I bought the boots I needed but was denied presumably for being a woman trying to work in a man’s industry. The second was for a backup at a restaurant that keep me on hold until half an hour before the shift started. They suspended me and I’m not going to attempt to pick up any more shifts. Bacon HOLD YOUR EMPLOYERS RESPONSIBLE TOO!!! If I could give a negative star I would. Thanks for taking the time to read this if they even let it up…..
As an “Elite” level worker it’s been frustrating using the Bacon app. Ever since December 2022 the app hasn’t been showing the available jobs. And when a job shows up it’s taken immediately. I go to apply and keep getting “application limit reached” or “not accepting applications”. The app lately has only been showing one or two jobs for a specific date. They’re already taken and no other alternatives. The people at “Bacon” keep apologizing for things, saying their constantly bringing new clients/ jobs on board. Yet nothing is showing. Am I not supposed to be getting notified or invited first to jobs?? I delete and reinstall and still same issues. Or else I’ll apply and get a job. Only for it to be deleted or cancelled, and then once I got notified to confirm if I was attending that job, even though it got cancelled.
This app doesn’t have an actual customer service, this app doesn’t show anything, this app also doesn’t show you any jobs but only past jobs only, Bacon why are y’all still in this platform and we can’t get an job
It would be nice if Bacon could actually get me a gig in service instead of nothing but custodian and recycling plant gigs. Also their tests are a little silly. I’ve been bartending for 14 years and have worked in some of the best restaurants around and I actually failed my first attempt at the qualifying exam. Some of the questions are…questionable and it would have been nice to know where I made a mistake. The industry standards and Bacon’s standards are a little different.
I’m not sure if I need to complete more courses or the location I am in. There is no jobs. At all. I assumed the holidays. But before and after still nothing. I can’t add my card information. Tried emailing both companies. Nothing no response but the same email. I hate it. Deleting it. No money and none but problems.
