I enjoyed this much simpler version of magic with its own fun little twists.
This game is exactly what I was looking for in a phone game. I’ve played a lot of different ccg and tcg games on my phone, Hearthstone, Plants vs Zombie Heros, Marvel Snap, and normal Magic The bathing arena card games but this one has that arcade quick battle feel. It plays like normal mtg but just a little bit different and I love it
As a long time mtg fan, this game is new refreshing way to play. It’s taken over my phone lol. Only thing I’d like to add from a “quality of life” perspective is having team chat live on home screen or even implemented during battles if possible. Our team is very active with donations and deck references. It’s been the best part of playing so far. It would be awesome to know when people post stuff in the chat live.
Which I mean as a compliment. Fast paced, fun, easy to play a game or two while waiting in line or between meetings.
Don’t be fooled when you first start up this game. If you don’t have friends to play this with and farm materials, you will hit a wall early in ranked where people just have better decks than the starter and any kind of grinding will be a slog of losses without friends to help you grind crafting materials or spending money to buy cards because people just have better decks.
