No alert for door opened without key fob

My car was broken into. There was no alert to my phone that the vehicle door had been pried open or that the glass was broken. No car alarm notification or neither the car alarm itself went off according to the neighbors. This is something that should be standard. I drive an $80k vehicle with app services and nothing on the app could prepare me for what I walked up to.
