could have an option to not allow cloud data from being accessed or erased . it is straight forward for the most part and works well.
I used this to clean up a problem I created when I migrated from a six-year old failed Android to a new one and could not use Migration Assistant with my Time Machine disk. Google's Music app had multiple copies of my ALAC files and some iTunes Match versions for songs that were AAC, instead. I had to read the documentation closely once I realized that some of my files that looked like duplicates were unique. They ended with " 1.m4a" but the one was not a copy but a number after words like "version," "take," or "part." The program helped.
This app is terrific! I was looking for a powerful tool to sift through years of files and remove the duplicates I've collected. This does the job well and with several additional "power user" features I have yet to utilize. I think some of the negative reviews may simply be from users that didn't take the time with the app. So far, it has been great at identifying duplicates and cleaning.
A gigantic waste of monty. The user interface is clearly writen by people who can't take a walk in an average user's shoes. The very first prompt is "Select Home Folder". Of what? There's no explaination and no help. Once I finally figured out that they were asking for MY Home Folder, the werid questions kept coming. And, the software found two (!) duplicates when I know there are hundreds. Sure, I understand that they're looking for 100% identifcal files but for it to be useful AT ALL, they need some fuzziness (preferably something you can adjust yourself). Absolutely not worty $30 . DON'T BUY IT.
I purchased this software hoping it was the best on the market. However, after a week of waiting for a response on the app not working in the photos app on my macbookpro (my primary reason I bought it), I have come to the conclusion that the app either does not work as it says it will, the apps developers are lacking any sort of customer support staff, or a combination of both. I wish I could get a refund but I do not think it is possible becuase I never get any responses, so I guess I'll just settle with marking this a a loss and write some negetative reviews a direct reflection of the apps worthiness.
