It’s is not tracking each game every week
The whole system is great!!! The App and computer systems stat data is awesome, however the bowling center (Westminster Lanes-Westminster, CA) are still not allowing the use of our points for anything. I’ve been acquiring points for over 2 years now and it seems like management doesn’t care about Open Lane and it’s end users…. It’s quite frustrating that they’re not holding up their end of the bargain. If someone from Open Lane or Brunswick made contact with them to get the bowling Alley up to speed, ALL of us Open Lane Customers would appreciate it… Thx-GC
Doesn’t seem to show the average score like it used to. And it seems to only save scores of recent games. My scores from a month ago or longer are no longer showing.
Just recorded my first session with the app. So much potential with this. It’s really missing a “stats” or “career” tab where you can see avg, strike percentage, spare conversion etc. it appears as though that data is being recorded but there is no way to access it. Okay dreaming a little here, but what if in the future, there was a league tab where you could link your profile with others’ in your league and compare all those stats. Such as maybe a separate game sync designed for league games only and could have a sortable league leaderboard view. So much potential to make leagues fun on a whole other level. All in all it is such a needed app and I think it will be integral in building interest in leagues and also keep casual bowlers coming back to their favorite alley. Well done!
So I’ve been using OpenLane for quite a while now and while i haven’t been to many centers using the sync system, it’s been great having the ability to see how i did for each game, a couple nitpicks i’d have to point out is that i really wish i could see an interactive replica of the results screen that was shown on the screen on the lane i was on which included people who didn’t connect the app, along with the stats screen (i.e average, spare, strike, split, and split conversion percentage) for each session, ok, on to the next minor nitpick, id really want the my scores tab to be sorted into sessions (assuming 2 or more games were played,) it looks kinda messy by showing each individual game rather than it being one tab for each play, session but other than that, really great app and I’m excited for what’s to come in the future
