Make Sure 2.4 GHz Wireless WiFi Is Present

Will not work on 5 GHz WiFi Only Networks since it online works on the 2.4 GHz frequency. Learned this the hard way after reading the online help. Would have been nice if that was started on the quick install instructions, then had to figure out how to set the WiFi for 2.4 GHz.

Hazard Resolution

Had an electric hazard notification so I called ting fire safety team and within 72 hours everything was scheduled. The hazard was resolved within the week. Thing had electricians from Wire it up electric company to my house to fix all electrical issues. They were in and out within 2 hours. Great customer service on both ends. Greatly appreciated. I would recommend everyone getting Ting Sensor

Great idea, weak device

The device dropped the wifi and had to be reconnected through the app about once every 10 days. More trouble than it’s worth.
