This was the worst and weirdest game I ever played yet becuase I had to try beating 1-2 30 times and I still lost every time I did it.. I hate this game..
Like others have said, it quickly turns into a game of luck, not skill.
Genuinely one of my favorite mobile games I’ve ever played. Sometimes extremely hard as the levels are randomly generated but overall i thoroughly enjoyed it. Only major complaint is HOW SHORT IT IS. I need this game to be 4 times longer. Hoping for new levels!!
Very cute and simple game mechanics that can pose some challenging puzzles. I discovered a bug that soft locks: when an enemy is revealed that randomizes the other monsters it created one that required my next action, I then used a potion on that stack and could no longer interact with any stack. Using options - quit displayed a black screen of death. Had to force close. Bugs like the one described above are not all that game breaking because you just have to attempt the node again, which you’ll be doing a lot anyway!
Another update to review: access to prestige levels has been broken for some people for over 2 months. Developers are too busy with their new game to fix this one. Google Arcade should review their fee support. Previous reviews: I play the chaos realm daily. I finally got all the way through a Saturday puzzle and had over 1800 gold and it glitched when the final level converted the remaining cards to gold. I couldn’t collect, couldn’t finish the level, couldn’t log the achievement. Sometimes reloading the game fixes a glitch and resumes, but this time it just dumped all my progress and counted it as a failed try for the day. So frustrating. Update to review: it gets worse. After I finally beat a Sunday chaos puzzle without glitches and tried to access prestige levels, the game reset my chaos realm, taking all gold, cards, upgrades (which is expected) BUT I can’t access prestige puzzles. According to their Discord it’s been this way for weeks. I expect better from an Google Arcade game.
