I paid for the Olympic training plan because of all the great reviews of this app. It cost as much or more as many of the triathlon training books which include plans. I thought the ease of use being on an app and also that I was paying for a specific distance (Olympic) would mean the plan would be detailed and provide specifics for the training days (like a cadence to shoot for when cycling or something). Unfortunately it is mainly structured around heart rate zones. I do have two monitors but don’t always want to wear them and also like different metrics. Perhaps when you get to elite status the zone trading is all you want to focus on. For me as a newbie, I’d prefer some basics like moderate intensity, Max Intensity, race pace, or give a cadence or something. I used a different app for my sprint distance training and loved it. The app was free and I would have happily paid due to its straightforward plan and ease of documenting my workouts. I would not recommend the paid portion of this app unless you only want to do zone training.
I loaded in my own plan. They did not make it easy. But once I got to the correct screen, it was not too hard.
