Charming game, a nice way to relax. Play by yourself or with an older child.
With all the intrigue and suspense the game kept my interests and there were a few twists and turns that kept the game exciting. Take it for what it is worth, a nice time with extra time to just relax and enjoy.
I'm a big fan of these types of games and fancy myself a collector. This particular one fell incredibly short of my expectations. As I continued playing, I became disappointed with the quality of plot of the game. Compared to other games they have, this one was rather boring and wasn't fun to play. The spell kit is creative but I don't have much to say beyond that.
I have loved artifex mundi games but have found the last few I’ve done take a shorter time to solve, are not as challenging. There are more videos (like in enigmatis 3) but very little time is put into interesting puzzles anymore. This game is for an elementary schooler. As an adult, I loved the puzzles in the games, now there is really no challenge. Please don’t dumb down your games.
