I really like the layout of the app, but the keyboard disappears so unfortunately it’s unusable.
Keyboard disappearing mid-editing and requiring a relaunch to appear again is extremely frustrating, but the auto-completion features are handy.
I can see my code. Or I can see the rendered HTML. I can’t see both side-by-side. This is an important feature.
It has find and replace, and even though you have to put files in its folder to edit locally, you can access them with Files. You can also open large files. Unfortunately, it locks up all of the time. A pain, but it auto saves, so you just have to open the app, then the file. Also, doesn’t scroll when you select text, making selection of large chunks of text nearly impossible. Wish I could love it, but the bugs have me constantly looking for something better. I’m not sure why saving a text file and finding text is so rare in the app store, but the rarity of any other usable editor has raised this one to 4 stars.
Why can’t your use the browser to view the file if it’s a .php file? I have a file that is .php but has html code in it and I can’t view it. :/
