Getting easier to use

Works very well.

The BP app does what it needs to. I found the station finder helpful while on vacation in an unfamiliar area. You can access your past transactions and add car washes at some stations. Occasionally it will have issues finalizing payment, but the app informs of this and tells you it’s ok to leave the station as they continue to attempt payment. It has always been taken care of by the time I get home. All in all a good app.

Totally unreliable

Find another way to pay for gas. The app is terrible and works at best occasionally. The TV ads suggesting the problems of paying with a credit card are absurd, especially as the app takes more time and doesn’t work.

Impossible to setup and then actually use

I really want to use this app due to the sheer number of BP stations around my house. My choices are Mobil or BP. The Mobil app works without issue but for the life of me, I can’t get the BP app to work at all. I even went online to create my account since the app refused to recognize my password. Then, after getting everything in order online, I returned to the app and was able to get in. But, once I tried to enter my payment method, it suddenly and unexpectedly tells me my “login is not complete” and offers three options: Retry, Call Us, or Log out”. Retry only brings me back to the same screen and I have no desire to place a call to deal with something that should be working. Huge fail on the part of the developer. Their call center must love the phone traffic this generates.
