iMPC Pro 2 for Android

Zero stars. Please save your money. I own Akai products such as the Mpc 1000, 5000, Mpk249, Ewi… I believed in Akai and Retronyms, but ever since IOS 13, IMPC Pro 2 has been a total disappointment. I was using impc pro 2 on my Android XS Max. I didn’t realize that the app on all platforms stopped exporting stems, constantly crashes, at times fails to boot and worst of all won’t export to desktop. To make matters worse on Father’s Day 2022, I purchased a Mobile 9 - 256 gigs. I then purchased Impc pro 2 for Mobile because it was updated 4 months earlier. I finally get around to using the app and experience the exact same things listed above. What a waste of money and effort. I let down by both Google for allowing broken apps to be sold or not tested thoroughly and completely let down by the Developers @Retronyms. Akai is being destroyed by this failure to deliver. All I can do is Archive as a zip. It would be great if MPC desktop or MPC Beats desktop would actually open the iOS created Archive. But it can’t because archiving doesn’t include a desktop executable project file. I have tried exporting stems and exporting to desktop on Android and Mobile respectively. It never works! What did I spend money on, the equivalent of a digital paperweight! *I can kind of export stems and bounce to desktop via an old Android 6 operating iOS 12. Anything else iOS related is completely broken. Please save your money until users verify that everything up to iOS 16 is working on both Android and Mobile.* Maybe a lack of funds will motivate the Devs. I have reached out to retronyms directly to start a discussion and never received any response. (Mainly about IAP content inaccurately priced during sales) Still nothing in response. Also the impc pro 2 app is 5 yrs old, lacking critical support updates on both Android and Mobile makes us wonder where’s Impc pro 3 from AKAI directly?

Add time-stretch and freeze audio and this would be the best daw on iOS no doubt . 32bt

Why did Akai pick Retronyms to develop an iOS version of the MPC platform? It’s riddled with bad code that crashes constantly. Retronyms has a long reputation for half working apps that NEVER get fixed. New updates only make the issues worse. Do they only hire programmers who no one else will touch? It should be embarrassing to them, but they continue on with bad development after bad development. Plus it’s clear they manipulate the app ratings to make it look like a real working product. This app is truly a waste of money.

After you take peoples money, please keep updating your app and not let it die. There’s a new iOS, and even before that it was full of bugs. I’ll never buy any more equipment from your company.
