Best app. Wish homekit didn’t limit to viewing 2 live while on non-local wifi I don’t know what I would do without this app
Love this app, it’s sleek, simple, and just works. Would be 5 star if I could hide the camera names on the screens. It becomes crowded and blocks visibility as I add more cameras. I couldn’t find a setting to hide it.
I recently replaced my Arlo cameras with Eufy and use HomeKit to view/manage my system. The HomeCam Today Widget has worked flawlessly so far and this feature makes HomeCam a no brainer. Instant access to live feeds for all my cameras makes the whole system much more usable and useful. This is one of those Apps that provides seamless and essential functionality that Google did not include in HomeKit.
I purchased this app and lost my money because it doesn’t support my camera.
Really solid app that ultimately does something simple but with homekit simple isn't always a guarantee - hence 5 stars. I'm using arlo cameras that I've brought into homekit. In the best of times these things can be pretty flaky. So far though, everything is dependable in HomeCam. The auto-reconnect feature works well and keeps things online for the most part. One additional feature I wish it had was a way to refresh the entire app (a la electron apps - cmd R). There are times when the cameras get stuck connecting and auto-reconnect will cycle multiple times with no luck. I've settled on a basic script to quickly restart the app but it would be a nice feature to have built in too.
