Liked prior version

Missing late set which allowed better way to locate anchor distance from boat. Current setting sets position at current location. This may be at helm at stern of boat assume 50’ scope 10’ water and boat length 38’ I have spun around anchor 180 degrees and am now 150’ from where set. Anchor location is only about 1/2 or ~78’ can’t just leave alarm distance at 165’ as I continue to swing with wind change. Not useful

Don’t waist your time

I have used this app for nearly 3 years, they recently changed the appearance, which I don’t care for but am happy to live with. The real problem is the reliability. I am a full time live aboard and have used this app almost daily for the past 20 months. It began to be finicky a few months ago, but with the recent changes it’s now useless DON’T WAIST YOUR TIME Ryan

Awesome App

I cruise on a Jeanneau 42DS and I just want to say I love this app, it’s fantastic. So simple and so effective. One of the things I like the most is that almost every time I use it I forget to turn it off and while I’m leaving that anchorage the car horn starts beeping, often through my boat stereo, reminding me that it has silently been doings its job in the background protecting my boat. Thanks for an amazing app and thanks for selling it to me for one price and not trying to rent it to me.

Unsure about your mooring?

I have used this when picking up a mooring and living on the boat. We have used this app in full gales and it gives piece of mind. Easy to use and it warns you if you slide outside of the designated circle. Maybe a bit nervous but always use this when hanging on a mooring in gale force winds. It works for anchoring also.
