Cool software but it really needs to ask before saving changes when I close the documents. They claim this is Google's recommended workflow but even Google's own apps such as Logic don't autosave without prompting the user.
I was looking for a decent software I could use to replace all of the subscription based ones I was using prior and this seems to match everything I was looking for. since owning it. I have had no issues and will be primarily using pixelmator apps
best photoshop replacement
So much faster, more organized, and easier to use than Photoshop. So glad I switched and will never look back. Thank you for making logical, nice software that simply works and isn't bloated or confusing.
Been using Pixelmator Pro for a while. Had to pay full price to upgrade from the basic (which they now say will be going away). Unfortunately, it doesn't support a number of common formats, such as the OpenEXR multilayer which Blender uses, or the dds format used in the videogame industry. I went to their site to ask about it, but they block it off with recaptcha, which evaluates you humanity based on it's ability to follow you around the web. Since I say no to G**gle in all it's sociopathic incarnations I won't be getting any support, but I will be trying Krita. Shame really, I was hopping Pix Pro would fill the gap of losing PSP when I turned my back on M$ forever.
