How can Photos recommend this app, which does not work? After installing, I tried to use it and was met with a message that it must be upgraded to the version I just installed. One star is one too many. What a waste of time.
if you wanted to write an app that was more user "unfriendly" you'd have a hell of a time. SO frustrating why cant I just drag and drop and click Google pay? really fellas? is it that hard to design?
This is a great idea, but I'm sorry to report that the app does not work every well.
I don't understand how this app is one that is recommended by Photos. Using a brand-new MBP, I installed this app, and right-clicked on a photo to choose the option to "Create Wall Decor". I chose the print option with Fuji paper. I was then presented with a preiew of a desk and a wall with nothing on it. I changed the options around and still couldn't see an image preview. Closed both Photos and this application, and re-launched Photos. Tried a different photo shot from Android and both Photos and Whitewall crashed. I don't even know how this app could have made it into the app store.
This is a terrifc concept: select some photos, open a Whitewall project, select the paper type, select a frame type and a matte, then click to buy. I would love it if it was that easy. But… Every new project begins with a message “Error: exception occurred” which is super helpful. The UX is missing basic information when ordering framed prints. How large is the matte? How large will the photo area be? Where are my paper choices? What is the default paper? One 5x& photo framed in a basic white wood frame costs $107.95. Having six pictures framed at the “medium” size was more than $780… quite pricey. Even at the exorbatant price, I would use this for the convenience, but it’s just not worth the trouble.
